Stablecoins: The New Digital Cash?

Join us for an event in collaboration with CFA Society France and GARP event exploring one of the most dynamic developments in digital finance: the rise of stablecoins and their potential role as a new form of digital cash.

The discussion will begin with an introduction by Gregory Raymond, founder of The Big Whale and a recognized commentator on digital assets, frequently featured in financial media.

We will then move into a roundtable bringing together leading practitioners from major financial institutions and the crypto ecosystem.

During this discussion, our experts will share insights on:

• The risks faced by stablecoin issuers and holders
• The implementation of the MiCA regulation and interactions with European regulators
• The advantages and limitations of consortium-based models versus single-issuer models
• The use of stablecoins to generate yield compared with tokenized money market funds

This conversation will highlight the strategic choices currently shaping the European digital asset landscape and the role stablecoins may play in the future of financial markets.
