Catherine Abely is a Senior Principal in the Marsh (formerly Mercer) Alternatives Group, focused on private equity. She joined Mercer in 2019 and is based in Atlanta. Catherine’s primary duties include manager research and due diligence, and working with clients to design, implement and monitor alternative asset portfolios. She is a member of the Private Equity Research Ratings Committee, the Private Debt Research Ratings Committee and the Co-Investment and Secondaries Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Mercer, Catherine was the Investment Director for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she worked in all facets of portfolio management for the institution’s endowment, with a focus on private equity during the most recent 10 years. 

Previously, Catherine was a Senior Vice President with Atlanta Capital Management Company, where she was responsible for compliance and administration of the firm.  She previously held the role of Director of Accounting at Northside Hospital and Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College in Providence, RI. She holds the CFA and CAIA designations and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Eric Foran is a Partner on Coller EQT's investment team. He is responsible for origination and execution of investments based in the firm’s New York office.Prior to joining Coller in 2010, Eric was in the Investment Management Division at Lehman Brothers based in San Francisco. Previously, he worked in the Global Advisor Research and Institutional Consulting groups at Morgan Stanley in New York. Eric has a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from London Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder.
