Bennett has almost a decade of Private Equity & Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Equity Research experience across the Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare and F&B sectors. He has executed over ~15 transactions with a combined value of more than ~US$400million. Bennett is currently an Investment Director with Velocity Ventures specializing in South East Asia growth equity investments. Prior to joining Velocity Ventures, Bennett was an Investment Director with Caber Partners where he evaluated and executed Private Equity investment opportunities in the Financial Services and Technology sectors in Asia. Before Caber Partners, he was an Investment Associate at Golden Equator Capital, a mid-market Private Equity and Venture Capital firm where he focused on growth equity investments in a wide range of industries in Southeast Asia. He has also worked in UOB and BNP Paribas in Equity Research and Investment Banking roles. Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School Fintech Programme. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Bennett currently also sits on the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.

Mr Wayne Lee Founder, Chairman and CEO W Capital Markets Mr. Lee has over 16 years of experience in the investment banking & corporate finance industry advising on cross border M&As, leveraged buyouts, lead-managing IPOs on the Singapore Exchange and acting as Financial Adviser to SGX listed companies. Furthermore, he has completed many equity capital markets fund raising transactions, including Pre-IPO, placement of listed company shares, convertible bonds and preference shares. Wayne has developed an extensive network and strong relationship with many prominent international buyout & private equity funds and family offices. He has completed more than 40 corporate finance deals including the “Best PE Exit of the Year” in 2013 awarded by the Singapore Venture Capital Association, with an aggregate transaction value exceeding S$3.0 billion.

Steve is an award-winning entrepreneur who has built high-growth companies in Asia and Europe over the last 25 years. Steve co-founded PropertyGuru in 2007 in answer to his personal frustrations in finding a new home. Until 2016, he led and grew the business, with co-founder Jani, into Southeast Asia’s leading online property group. Prior to PropertyGuru, Steve was the CEO of an Asian social network firm. Previously, he served as an advisor to digital media, venture capital and start-up companies in Asia and Europe including Skype, AOL, Virgin Media, Vodafone, Extreme Media, iPass and Ariadne Capital. Steve also led global teams and a US$500 million turnover business unit for Cable & Wireless. In 2007, Steve was awarded the ‘Spirit of Enterprise Award’ in recognition of his contributions to entrepreneurship in Singapore. He has also helped PropertyGuru secure many industry awards including Hitwise #1, CNBC World’s Best Property Portal, SVCA Best Performing VC/PE-Backed Firm, SiTF Best E-Enterprise, Marketing Magazine Mob-Ex Awards and Influential Brands® Top Brand For Online Property Search In Asia. Steve is passionate about tech, entrepreneurship and social enterprise. He has invested in, and advises, a number of early-stage tech firms in Asia.

Cindy joined Golden Equator Ventures with investment, operational and management experience across the banking, clean energy and aviation industries. Applying business intelligence and IT business analysis to fund management, she has reviewed over a thousand companies, and led deals in the FinTech, HR tech, PropTech and New Media sectors. Cindy has also helped startups secure partnerships with tech giants (i.e. Google, Facebook), enter new markets, hire key management and expand strategic networks. She has completed the CFA Level 1 examination and holds a Bachelor’s degree (major in Economics), from the National University of Singapore.

Jack Wang Ying Yang, CFA Mr. Wang is a qualified Chartered Accountant of Singapore and Australia by training. He has served as both CFO and board member for listed companies and pre-IPO companies in Singapore and Hong Kong. Mr. Wang is currently a non-executive director of Raffles Investment Partners & Lexico Capital which specialize in pre-IPO investments and public equities. Mr. Wang started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he obtained extensive professional experience in areas of financial audits and advisory engagements for various listed companies and global MNCs. He was a former Citibanker for the Greater China Region (China, Taiwan & HK) where AUM under his advisory and management exceeds USD 500 million. Mr. Wang has extensive trading, asset management and derivatives experience of more than two decades during his career with global firms such as PwC and Citibank. Mr. Wang currently serves as the Chairman of Investment & Finance Committee for Constituency Pasir RisPunggol Town Council.
