Francisco Amaral
Organization: University of Zurich, Department of Finance


Francisco Amaral is an Assistant Professor of Real Estate Finance at the University of Zurich’s Department of Finance (appointed October 1, 2024) and a faculty member at the Swiss Finance Institute and at CUREM. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bonn and is a research fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. His research sits at the intersection of financial and urban economics, with a focus on housing market microstructure and the spatial distribution of housing prices and returns. He is also a co-founder of the German Real Estate Index (GREIX), which provides housing-market indicators to improve transparency in Germany.


Olivier P. Müller


Olivier has more than 18 years of financial services industry experience, and also broad leadership experience. He holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics, has been a CFA Charterholder since 2006, is a CAIA Charterholder as well as a a FRM Charterholder. Oli has been with Credit Suisse since 2002 in many roles, including portfolio management, trading research, equity and credit research, investment strategy and most lately he was Head of Investment Delivery, working on advisory and discretionary solutions as well as investment communication. He has been a volunteer since 2009 with CFA Society Switzerland and CFA Institute, working with two colleagues on the CFA Institute Research Challenge and University Relations, as well as on smaller assignments. He is a Swiss citizen, lives in the city of Zürich, speaks German and French, both native, as well as English.


Lukas Riesen
Organization: PPCMetrics


Lukas Riesen is a Partner and Member of the Executive Board at PPCmetrics, where he has been contributing since 2007. He holds a CFA designation, a Master of Science in Economics (Econometrics) from the University of Bern, and a degree in Business Economy from the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Prior to PPCmetrics, he gained experience as a start-up advisor in the telecom sector and held various business functions in IT. He is also active in teaching, delivering seminars for KGP and VPS Verlag Personalvorsorge und Sozialversicherung AG.


Karin Salomon
Organization: Rivora Sammelstiftung


Karin Salomon has been Head of Asset Management / Investment Controlling at Rivora Sammelstiftung since 2017. She also serves as Chairwoman of the Investment Committee and is a member of the Real Estate Committee. Prior to this, she spent twelve years at Berenberg Bank (Switzerland) AG in various roles within asset and fund management, including as an Investment Advisor. In addition to her relevant professional experience, she holds the Swiss Federal Diploma as a Financial Analyst and Asset Manager and is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA). She also completed the MAS in Pension Fund Management (HSLU/IFZ) with distinction. Her master’s thesis focused on the comparability of climate metrics in ASIP reporting, analyzing methodological differences and their impact on transparency and interpretability.


Marie Seiler
Organization: Pensimo Management


Marie Seiler has been CEO of Pensimo Management AG since 2024. The company manages real estate investments in Switzerland and abroad on behalf of four investment foundations and a publicly traded fund. Previously, she headed the Swiss real estate investment business for third-party clients at Swiss Life Asset Managers. Before that, as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland, she was responsible for leading the real estate advisory practice in the areas of valuation, transactions, and strategy. Marie Seiler holds a degree in economics (University of Freiburg im Breisgau), is a certified appraiser of developed and undeveloped properties (DIA German Real Estate Academy), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute), and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
