Kevin Abrial

Diego Fernández Elices
Organization: A&G


I started my career as an analyst creating form scratch a multifamily office, GBS Family office, were I managed portfolios, gave financial and fiscal advise to different high networth families and individuals, renegotiating fees and making financial planning. In 2007 I moved to A&G as the fund selection director, where I was responsable of the selection of third party funds for over 2 billion euro. In 2017 I was promoted to CIO of the group, being responsable of over c.13 bn of AUM, divided in advisory and discretionary. The discretionary business has an asset management arm, which is being developed from zero and has over 1 billion now.


Patricia García
Organization: BBVA


Patricia García began her professional career at BBVA in 2003, initially in the commercial department of BBVA. Since 2005, she has held various positions within the BBVA Asset Management area, including risk management and valuation of Private Market funds. Between 2011 and 2015, she was responsible for the financial control of BBVA’s London branch. In recent years, she has been focused on private fund selection at BBVA Quality Funds, where she leads the selection of Private Debt funds for the group. Patricia holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from UCM and is a CAIA Charterholder.


Carlos Gross

Carlos joined Alcentra in May 2019 and is a member of the Special Situations team. Prior to joining Alcentra, Carlos was a Senior Associate at Stellex Capital Management, a private equity fund focused on distressed and special situations in Europe and North America. Before joining Stellex, he was an associate at Evercore in the Special Situations Group. Carlos started his career as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group. Carlos graduated in Law and Business Administration from ICADE (E-3) in Spain.

Jose Carlos Lopez Moraleja

Jose Carlos López Moraleja is the CEO and founding partner of 101 Futures, a boutique advisory firm specialized in alternative investments, derivatives, and risk management. With over 30 years of experience in financial markets, he holds international certifications such as CAIA, CHP, and ICFA. He focuses on the design and management of quantitative strategies based on volatility and systematic models. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at firms such as Cortal-Consors (BNP Paribas Group), Daiwa Securities, ODDO, and Prestian Investments, where he developed parametric models, hedging strategies, and quantitative structures aimed at alpha generation. His expertise in systematic Managed Futures strategies dates back to the late 1990s. Through 101 Futures, he advises both institutional and qualified investors, with a strong focus on Hedge Funds, Managed Futures, and multimanager CTA strategies. His deep quantitative expertise positions him as a leading figure in Alternative Investments.


Enrique Marazuela

Enrique Marazuela, CFA, CAd, is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of MdF Family Partners. From 2004 to 2021 he was Chief Investment Officer of BBVA Private Banking in Spain. During his tenure in BBVA, he has held the position of Chairman and CEO of the Asset Management Company “BBVA Patrimonios Gestora”, the largest SICAV (similar to open-ended mutual funds) manager in Spain, and Board member of “BBVA & Partners”, a company which managed several hedge funds (now both companies are merged with BBVA Asset Management). Before BBVA, he worked for AEGON Spain (from 1996 to 2004), the Spanish subsidiary of the large Dutch insurer, as Chief Investment Officer and member of the Executive Committee of its Spanish unit. He represented AEGON Spain at the Board of Directors of “InverSeguros”, a financial group formed by several Spanish insurers, where he was appointed Vicechairman (2003) and Chairman (2004). Before AEGON, Mr. Marazuela worked as Head of Equity Research in ACF, SVB (Ahorro Corporación Financiera), one of the main stockbroker of the Spanish Stock Exchange (1994- 1996), and as Head of the Investment Department of Banco Urquijo asset management subsidiary, among other positions in the Bank (1990-1994). He has served for two decades as an editorial board member and regular columnist of the weekly magazine “Inversión”, the most widely read economic magazine in Spain. Now, he is member of the Editorial Board of “Gestores”, a specialised supplement for Asset Managers of “Consejeros”, the Spanish magazine focused on Board Members. Mr. Marazuela media activity is very ample (videos, podcasts, interviews, columns, etc.) and his impact in LinkedIn is noteworthy (over 10.000 followers). Mr. Marazuela has been President and CEO of CFA Society Spain, for two terms (2016- 2020), the local society in Spain of CFA Institute, and Board member (2012- 2020) for four terms, in both cases the Bylaws limit. Gisela Medina

Gisela Medina, CAIA, CESGA, is Global Head of Fund & ETF Selection at BBVA Quality Funds, BBVA´s Global Third Party Selection Platform. Ms. Medina has more than 24 years of experience working in financial markets, in different responsibilities, both in investment management and investments selection. She joined BBVA 19 years ago to work in the Proprietary Trading Desk of the Global Markets Unit, investing in hedge funds. In 2009, she moved to Quality Funds, the global analysis and selection unit for third party funds for the whole BBVA group, where she was Head of the Quant Analysis and Selection for Alternative Funds. In 2019, she became Global Head of Fund & ETF Selection. Prior to that, Ms. Medina was an Alternative Fund Manager at Ahorro Corporación and Gesmadrid SGIIC. She started her financial career as a Quant Analyst in charge of modelling alternative investment programs at Gesmadrid SGIIC. Ms. Medina has a Degree in Mathematics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1998) and MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh (2001). She is a CAIA charterholder (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and CESGA certification (Environmental, Social and Governance). She has obtained the MEFF (Mercado Español de Futuros y Opciones Financieros) license for trading and clearing. She is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish. She loves travelling, forest bathing, art and science dissemination. She is a STEM Ambassador for Inspiring Girls Initiative and used to monitor a young robotic team for the First Lego League Junior Challenge. Miriam Medina

Miriam Medina Caballero has over 25 years of professional experience. For more than 10 years, she worked at a financial institution, serving as a Member of the Business Committee and Director of Corporate Brand and Strategic Planning. She is certified as a Mentor and Coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), as well as in Change Management by Prosci. She is currently a founding partner of Orion Coaching, a company focused on high-performance programs for executives, and a partner at Kongenio, an External Advisory Board. Her approach combines business strategy with human development, fostering conscious and adaptive leadership in highly complex environments.


Patricia Molpeceres

Patricia Molpeceres is Sales Director of the Iberia region at AllianceBernstein, where she covers all types of clients including institutions, wholesalers and retail. She joined AllianceBernstein in January 2021. Previously she worked for Franklin Templeton Investments during 20 years, where she held several positions including Client Service Manager, Marketing Manager and Senior Sales. Before that, Molpeceres worked at Bank of America in the Structured and Derivatives Desk. She holds a Business Administration Bachelor´s Degree from University Autónoma in Madrid. Tobias Moskowitz
Organization: AQR Capital Management, LLC


Tobias Moskowitz is a Principal at AQR Capital Management, where he is a portfolio manager and a senior member of the Integrated Research group. In this role, Toby contributes to research on asset pricing and investment issues related to domestic and international strategies. He currently holds the Dean Takahashi Chaired Professorship in Finance and Economics at Yale University, is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and was formerly the Fama Family Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1998 to 2016. He has won numerous awards for his academic research, including the 2015 Bernstein Fabozzi/Jacobs Levy Award for the best article in The Journal of Portfolio Management. In 2007, he was awarded the Fischer Black Prize by the American Finance Association, which recognizes the best financial economist under the age of 40, and the Kauffman Prize Medal for Distinguished Research in Entrepreneurship in 2012 by the Kauffman Foundation, which recognizes the largest contribution to entrepreneurial research under the age of 40. His work has been cited in numerous print media, television appearances, and in a 2005 speech by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan. Toby earned a B.S. in industrial management/industrial engineering with honors and an M.S. in finance from Purdue University, as well as a Ph.D. in finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.


Philippe Muñoz Cuellar

Alejandro Olivera Guerrero

Alejandro Olivera Guerrero, CAIA, is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Director and Head of Clients within the Investments division at WTW (Willis Towers Watson) in Spain. In this role, he leads client management efforts, focusing on institutional investors such as pension funds. Prior to joining WTW, Alejandro worked as a consultant at Mercer, where he specialized in advising institutional clients on investment strategies. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, reflecting his expertise in alternative investments.


Fernando Sanchez Santidrian
Organization: Caixabank Asset Management


Fernando is the Head of Alternative Investment at CaixaBank AM. He graduated in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valladolid and later expanded his studies by obtaining the titles of Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), as well as a Master in Banking and Finance and an Executive Master in Quantitative Finance from International Financial Analysts (AFI). He has 25 years of work experience in financial markets, having worked directly for major financial sector entities in risk and investment areas.


Jacobo Silva
Organization: Omega Asset Management


Jacobo Silva joined Omega Capital in April 2007. In his role as Senior Portfolio Manager, he leads all the efforts on manager selection, portfolio construction on both Fund of Hedge Fund portfolios and tailor made SMAs. Before joining Omega, Jacobo worked as an Associate Director for M&B Capital from 2004 to 2007, where he was a hedge fund analyst focused on multi-strategy managers and a product specialist for institutional investors. Before that, he was a portfolio analyst at CECA (Confederation of Spanish Savings Banks) in London from 2001 to 2004, where he was involved in the manager selection and portfolio management of more than $1bn in institutional assets. Jacobo holds a B.A in Economics from San Pablo CEU University. He studied a MSc. in Finance in City University Business School (London) where he wrote a dissertation focus on merger arbitrage:  “The Impact of M&A Activity: The UK Evidence”.


Cristina Tejedor
Organization: Santander Private Banking


Cristina Tejedor holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza and an MBA from IE (2000). Cristina has been involved in the financial world for nearly 25 years. She began her career in strategic consulting (BCG) and later joined Banco Urquijo in the M&A and Syndicated Loans department. Her experience across various departments, always connected to the corporate world, has given her a broad perspective on both debt and equity, which has proven valuable in her work in Private Banking at Banco Santander. Since 2006, Cristina has held various positions in Santander’s Private Banking division. In 2017, SPB decided to launch the Private Markets division, which Cristina has been leading ever since.


Alejandra Valverde

Alejandra Valverde, CEFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Orienta Wealth, where she is responsible for overseeing alternative investments. Her role involves leading the firm's strategies in private markets, including private equity, private debt, and other non-traditional asset classes. With over 20 years of experience in portfolio management, Alejandra brings extensive expertise in managing funds, SICAVs, and multi-asset discretionary portfolios. She previously held the position of Managing Director at Alantra Wealth Management, which merged with Orienta Capital in 2024 to form Orienta Wealth. This merger has positioned the firm as a significant player in Spain's private banking sector, managing over €7 billion in assets.
