Sikander Ahmed

Sikander Ahmed is Head of MENA Private Credit on the Emerging Market Private Investments Team, formerly NBK Capital Partners which Janus Henderson Investors acquired in 2024. Prior to joining NBK in 2010, Sikander worked in the investment banking divisions of CIBC World Markets and RBC Capital Markets in New York.
Sikander earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a concentration in finance from the University of Michigan. He has 19 years of financial industry experience.


Alina Pakhomenka
Organization: Akrivia Capital


Alina Pakhomenka is a Director at Akrivia Capital, where she focuses on coverage of family offices and institutions across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. She has over 10 years of experience in capital raising, having worked with a range of global and emerging managers across asset classes.

Before joining Akrivia, Alina was Head of Family Offices at A2Z Private Capital (formerly Capstone Asia). She has also held senior roles at boutique advisory firms in Europe and with a Swiss multi-family office, focused on capital raising and investor relations. Alina began her career at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in London, where she worked with UHNWIs and family offices.

Alina holds a Master of Arts in Strategy and International Management from the University of St. Gallen. She is a CAIA Charterholder and part of the CAIA UAE Executive Chapter.


Omneya Ramadan

Omneya Ramadan is a highly regarded economic consultant and macroeconomist with sixteen years of experience in policy advisory, particularly within the public sector and economic reform. Currently serving as Associate Director at Oxford Economics, she plays a crucial role in delivering insightful economic analysis and recommendations to policymakers. As a speaker, she brings a wealth of knowledge, combining deep analytical expertise with practical insights from her extensive work with governments and financial institutions across the MENA region. Her ability to translate complex economic concepts into actionable strategies makes her a sought-after voice at industry conferences and policy forums.

Omneya's career began with the Economic Research Forum, where she honed her research skills before joining the Ministry of Finance of Egypt, where she spent over nine years developing her expertise in macro-fiscal policy. Rising through the ranks to become Deputy Director of the Macro-Fiscal Policy Unit, she played an instrumental role in shaping fiscal policy and economic reform initiatives. Her expertise led her to collaborate with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Middle East Technical Assistance Center, where she contributed to the establishment and capacity building of economic policy advisory arms in several ministerial cabinets across the region. This foundational work solidified her reputation as an expert in economic reform and policymaking.

In recent years, Omneya has taken on increasingly influential roles, working as a Macro Fiscal Advisor for the Ministry of Finance in Saudi Arabia, where she provided high-level strategic economic guidance. Since joining Oxford Economics in 2021, she has continued to shape economic discourse by producing hundreds of research notes, executive briefings, and analytical reports that influence policymakers. Her expertise in economic modelling, fiscal sustainability, and policy recommendations has made her a pivot


Manuel Rogl
Organization: JIMCO


Manuel Rogl is a senior investment professional at JIMCO, the global investment arm of the Jameel family. His focus areas span energy transition, sustainable agriculture, and the advancement of mobility, technology, and healthcare.

Prior to joining JIMCO in 2018, Manuel worked in the investment structuring group at UniCredit CIB and began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
He holds a Master of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) and a Master of Science in Finance and Information from the University of Augsburg (Germany). Manuel completed the Chief Investment Officer program at Columbia Business School and is a CAIA Charterholder.
