CAIA Middle East
Global Private Credit Trends & The evolution of Private Credit in MENA

The global private credit market has surged from US$300 billion in 2010 to over US$1.6 trillion in 2023, a reflection of growing demand for non-bank lending and evolving regulatory frameworks worldwide.

The GCC is mirroring this momentum, driven by the rise of SMEs, the introduction of modern insolvency laws, and increased participation from international investors. As the region matures, the UAE is emerging as a key hub for private credit, with other MENA markets poised to follow.

Join us to explore the trends, opportunities, and challenges shaping the next phase of private credit, from global forces to regional developments transforming the investment landscape.
