Monika Bednarz

Monika is Managing Director at Lagrange based in Frankfurt, Germany. She advises institutional investors on alternative investments (equity and debt). She draws on over 20 years of experience in finance and real assets, including corporate and asset financing, financial restructuring, corporate turn-around and distressed assets. Prior to joining Lagrange, she worked i.a. for BNP Paribas and Zurich Insurance. Monika is Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Lagrange Financial Advisory is an independent multi-asset financial advisor based in Germany, with focus on alternative assets (infrastructure, real estate, private equity and private debt), experienced both in primary and secondary transactions. The experts of Lagrange cover global markets in fund and debt advisory. Institutional investors predominantly come from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Over the last 7 years, 40 various alternative investment funds were placed with over 90 investors (insurance companies, pension funds, pension schemes, banks, foundations, municipal and church institutions), with a total placement value of ca. EUR 3 bn, including more than 110 transactions.

Benjamin heads the Manager and Product Selection department of Selinus Capital, the largest placement agent focused on the distribution of alternative investments to institutional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
Prior to joining Selinus, he worked as Investment Specialist in Deutsche Bank’s Key Client Partners division, providing large single family offices access to alternative investments and broader investment banking services.
Benjamin holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance & Investment from Durham University Business School, UK, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration & Banking from DHBW Karlsruhe, Germany.
He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) Charterholder, a CAIA Germany Chapter Executive and has completed the Stanford Online Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies (EIET) professional course.
Sven Czermin

Sven has many years of experience in asset management and transaction consulting. Prior to joining Palladio Partners, he was responsible for the private equity division of a leading German consulting firm and advised institutional investors in their investments in tangible assets. Previously, he worked in transaction consulting and M&A for a Big4 company.
Sven Czermin holds an M.Sc. in Finance & Accounting (Goethe University, Frankfurt).

Alex Schwab

Alex Schwab is part of the PG Private Equity Goods & Products team, based in Zug. He is a Board Observer of Velvet Care, the leading hygiene paper manufacturer in CEE.
Prior to joining Partners Group, Alex worked at Deutsche Private Equity (DPE) where he focused on Private Equity investments across the Business Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors. Alex started his career 2016 in the Mergers & Acquisitions team of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
He holds a Master in Finance from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
