Birgit Boykin
Organization: BlackRock


Birgit Boykin, Director, leads Global Inclusion and Diversity for BlackRock and is a member of the San Francisco Leadership Team. Prior to joining BlackRock, Birgit led Global Partner Affairs for Booz & Company (renamed Strategy& when acquired by PwC) and was responsible for the strategy and execution of performance and talent management, compensation, incentive design and broader partner value proposition for the firm's top 300 leaders. As a member of Global People Strategy team, Birgit regularly reported to the firm's Executive Committee and Board of Directors she was appointed to support the firm's Compensation Committee. During the post-merger integration of Booz & Company into PwC, Birgit led the design of the global partner evaluation approach and subsequent translation into the local territory compensation systems for the entire Strategy Consulting business. She was a member of the global Strategy Consulting Leadership Team. Earlier in her career at Booz & Company, she led a number client-facing strategy consulting projects. Prior to joining Booz & Company in 2004, Birgit worked in Public Relations for Publicis Dialog in New York for three years and EXXON Corporation in Germany and Switzerland for 10 years in a number of Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles. She has a BA with Honors in Business Economics from Wirtschaftsakademie in Hamburg, Germany and an MBA with Honors in Finance and Public Policy from The Wharton School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Birgit grew up in Bremen in Northern Germany and now lives outside San Francisco (SF) in Alamo with her husband, J.P., and their three children - Baron, Bastian and Mila.


Daryn Dodson
Organization: Illumen Capital


Daryn Dodson is a passionate advocate of social and economic justice, especially for disadvantaged and marginalized groups. His work with impact investors, private equity funds, Fortune 100 companies, universities and foundations has been viewed through the lens of addressing the world’s most pressing social and environmental problems. Daryn is the Founder and Managing Director of Illumen Capital, an impact fund of funds that seeks to increase gender and racial equity within the financial markets. Illumen Capital invests in the top growth, private equity and venture impact funds, and then provides coaching and tools to fund managers designed to reduce implicit bias. Daryn previously led the Special Equities Program as a consultant to the Board of the Calvert Funds, a $12 billion pioneer of the impact investing field. Through this vehicle, Calvert maintains a portfolio of more than 40 funds on five continents, representing over 350 underlying portfolio companies. Prior to serving as a consultant to Calvert, Daryn served as Director of University and Corporate Partnership for The Idea Village, where he created a platform engaging leading private equity firms, business schools, and Fortune 500 companies to invest over 100,000 hours and $2 million into more than 1,000 New Orleans entrepreneurs post-Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Dodson is the co-author of published research that examines the influence of race in financial judgements of asset allocators, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Ben and Jerry’s. He earned his M.B.A. from Stanford, where he serves on the Dean’s Management Board, and his A.B. from Duke University.


Bert Feuss
Organization: Silicon Valley Community Foundation


Bert Feuss stewards $9 billion of investments for Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF), including the endowment, five investment pools for donor funds, split-interest gifts and donated cryptocurrencies. As a pioneer in impact investing, Bert and SVCF are recognized leaders in hiring diverse asset managers, facilitating mission-and program-related investments from donor-advised funds and place-based investing. Bert is a trustee of Mission Investors Exchange, leads the Investment Practices Committee of the Fiscal and Administrative Officers Group, and volunteers as an advisor to the UC Davis Foundation. Prior to joining SVCF in 2004, Bert was a senior-VP at Franklin Templeton Investments. He holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and Bachelor of Science from UC Davis.


Alexis Kwon
Organization: Alternative Investment Management Association Limited (AIMA)


Alexis Kwon is an Associate Director at the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA). Based in NY, she is responsible for supporting AIMA’s US membership and working with its constituents to develop resources around asset raising, sound practices and industry education, and operational efficiency. Prior to joining AIMA, Alexis was a Vice President at City Financial, where she helped develop investor relations and operational due diligence processes. She also collaborated across City Financial’s global teams to manage business projects for the firm’s alternative strategies. Alexis has over 12 years’ experience in the finance industry, including work with emerging managers to help build their businesses. Before transitioning to the buy-side, Alexis held sales and business development roles at Prudential, ING and Sanford C. Bernstein where she served clients in the bank channel, retail, HNW and hedge fund markets. Alexis holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.


Ta Lohachitkul
Organization: Albourne Partners Limited


Tathata (Ta) Lohachitkul is a Partner and Portfolio Analyst at Albourne and is based in San Francisco. Ta joined Albourne in 2005 from university and began her career as a supporting Investment Due Diligence Analyst focused on Fixed Income Arbitrage and Mortgage Arbitrage. She transitioned to the Portfolio Analyst role in 2007 and has worked with public pension plans, endowment and foundations, financial intermediaries and high net worth families since that time. As a Portfolio Analyst, Ta has advised clients on portfolio construction and manager selection, for both hedged and private market assets, risk, and asset allocation. Since 2018, Ta has been leading Albourne’s efforts on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is collaborating with AIMA to develop a standardized D&I questionnaire into Albourne’s due diligence process and making manager responses to this questionnaire available to clients. Ta has a BA in Economics, from the University of California, Berkeley and is a CFA Charterholder.


Bahiyah Robinson
Organization: VC Include


Bahiyah is the Founder + CEO of VC Include, a platform of female and diverse emerging managers in the Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Impact Investment space and LPs that care about returns, impact and inclusion around gender, ethnicity, sexual identity and race. VC Include has produced curated convenings with our fund managers, LPs across asset class and network partners in NYC, LA, SF and other major cities. These intimate gatherings are designed to create meaningful, long-term relationships through knowledge exchange and pattern matching, while creating a more diverse pipeline of investors in the alternative investments ecosystem. Bahiyah has led multiple technology, investment, and social impact initiatives in the US, Brazil and across Sub-Saharan Africa since 2001. Her collaborations and investments have been recognized over the years by the Knight Foundation, Echoing Green, Entrepreneur, CNN and Forbes.


Isela Rosales
Organization: Bridge Investment Group Partners


Isela Rosales, CAIA, serves as a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group at Bridge Investment Group. Prior to joining Bridge, Ms. Rosales worked at Brevan Howard in Investor Relations, managing corporate and public pension, endowment, foundation, private wealth, and investment consultant relationships. Previously, she was Head of Client Services for Lyxor Asset Management, Inc. and Director of Marketing & Investor Relations for Coast Asset Management in their New York offices, cultivating institutional level client relationships for each multi-billion dollar firm’s hedge fund and multi-manager products. She began her career at Cambridge Associates, serving on consultant teams for the firm’s endowment, foundation, and family office clients, covering traditional and hedge fund asset classes. Ms. Rosales received her dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish from Stanford University, graduating with honors distinctions. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a Chapter Executive for CAIA San Francisco. Ms. Rosales is fluent in Spanish and competes in Ironman and marathon competitions in her spare time


Wendy Walker
Organization: Cambridge Associates, LLC


Wendy Walker, CFA, is a Managing Director in Cambridge Associates’ San Francisco office and a Chief Investment Officer in CA Capital Management, Cambridge Associates’ outsourced investment office business. Wendy works with endowment & foundation clients and is a member of the firm’s Mission-Related Investing Council, providing strategic guidance for the firm’s sustainable and impact investing platform and oversight of related initiatives. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Wendy worked on the investment teams at Imprint Capital Advisors, focusing on socially responsible and environmental-themed fund managers, and at Parnassus Investments, integrating environmental, social and governance factors into industry and company-specific research. She is a former vice chair of the Sustainable Investing Committee of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Wendy graduated cum laude from Yale University and earned an MBA (with Honors) from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. She serves on the Advisory Committee to the Haas Sustainable Investment Fund.


Julia Winterson
Organization: CommonSpirit Health


As part of a small team, Julia Winterson helps manage CommonSpirit Health’s $21 billion investment portfolio. Specifically, she has primary responsibility for the private equity and diversifying hedge fund portfolios. She joined Dignity Health from the University of California Regents where she was Director, Private Equity and Co-Investment. At the UC, she managed primary fund investments including secondary sales and led the co-investment effort. Earlier in her career, she worked in corporate M&A for Sun Microsystems and was an Analyst and Associate at Battery Ventures and Thoma Bravo, respectively. She earned an MBA with distinction from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and an AB, cum laude, from Harvard College.
