Charles Alvarez


Charles Alvarez joined CAIA in January 2017 as Associate Director of Financial Research as well as Chapter Executive of the Virtual chapter, and a contributing Member of the New York chapter. Charles serves as the Assistant Editor of the Alternative Investment Analyst Review (AIAR) and manages the Association's Academic Partnership Program. Prior to joining CAIA, he worked at AB (AllianceBernstein) exclusively under their alternative investments business as a Client Portfolio Manager in their Multi-Asset quantitative group. Charles earned a BA in Mathematics from SUNY Binghamton. He has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is currently working towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.


Elliot Bradbrook
Organization: Preqin Ltd.


Elliot Bradbrook joined Preqin in 2008 and managed its infrastructure-related research and data activities for 5 years. He now directs the company’s intelligence on the global institutional investor community across it’s suite of alternative asset platforms – an international research operation involving active communication with key professionals at over 15,000 institutions globally to gauge portfolio structure, market confidence and investment appetite. Preqin initiates, manages and develops relationships with the investor community and conducts extensive secondary market research to ensure a flow of quality intelligence used to generate opportunities for private capital fundraisers. Elliot holds a BA (Summa Cum Laude) in History and Communications from the University of Akron in Ohio, US. He is an active participant on the conference circuit, having attended and spoken at many leading industry events in Europe, North America and Asia.


David Moreno
Organization: EPRA


David joined EPRA in August 2016. He has a background in financial markets within financial institutions mainly as analyst for fixed income and corporate finance. CFA III aspirant. He is Economist and Professional in Finance from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia) and holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Université Paris I Pantheón-Sorbonne (France).
