Alexis Cheang
Organization: Mercer, LLC


Alexis is a Partner in Mercer’s Wealth business and leads the Responsible Investment team in the Pacific. She works with clients to develop and implement a set of responsible investment beliefs, policies and practices throughout the investment process. This includes integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the investment process and making use of ownership rights through proxy voting and engagement. She is based in Sydney. Prior to joining Mercer in April 2014, Alexis spent 10 years in the governance and sustainable investment team at F&C Asset Management in London and Boston. At F&C, Alexis was responsible for developing ESG-integrated investment products, working with portfolio managers across equity, credit and private equity to integrate ESG factors, and engaging with companies on a broad range of issues, including corporate governance, climate change, and human rights. Alexis is a member of the Sustainable Investment Finance Initiative and co-chairs Technical Working Group 2 on embedding sustainability in financial markets, products and services. In 2017, she was recognised as the Thought Leader of the Year by Women in Finance. Alexis holds a master of science (politics of the world economy) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and a bachelor of arts (political science and religion) from Columbia University, US.


En Lee

En Lee is the Head of Sustainable and Impact Investments in Asia at LGT, the world’s largest family-owned private banking and asset management group with over USD 220bn in assets under management. He leads and manages the regional impact investment portfolio in Southeast Asia and China, serving on the boards of several organizations in Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. He is a Partner of LGT Lightstone, the firm’s global impact investing initiative, and a member of the LGT Sustainability Board. Prior to LGT, En was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs advising investment funds. A recognized industry pioneer, En serves on the World Economic Forum ESG Advisory Group, Asia Investor Group on Climate Change, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore Sustainable Finance Working Group. He is an Advisory Committee Member of the Triple P Financial Inclusion Fund, a Steering Committee Member of the Harvard Impact Investing Group, and an Entrepreneur In Residence at INSEAD. En graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a CAIA Charterholder. He was selected as an Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellow and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and the Young Presidents' Organization.
