Josh Cochran
Organization: Cochran Wealth


Josh Cochran is the Founder and Principal of Cochran Wealth, a fee only Registered Investment Adviser. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and later joined Fifth Third Private Bank. He earned his B.S. in Finance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During his time in college, Josh led the Future Financial Professionals group as President, and was awarded with an Achievement and Leadership award upon graduation. Josh is a CFA charter holder.


Stephen Davenport
Organization: SunTrust


Steve Davenport is responsible for delivering options strategies for SunTrust’s high net worth and institutional clients. He has previously worked at State Street Global Advisors and Wilmington Trust. He has a graduate degree from Boston College and B.S. degrees from Columbia University and Providence College. He holds the CFA designation and is a member of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals (ASFIP) and President of ASFIP Foundation. As a volunteer for the ASFIP the last nine years, Steve has mentored college students and led the CFA society to be more externally focused. As the industry tries to regain trust, he established the ASFIP Foundation to address financial literacy in the Atlanta community. By channeling time and financial resources, the society has made a commitment, which allows members to serve and gain valuable experience in the non-profit sector.


Andy Fisher
Organization: Pendyne Capital


Andy Fisher is the CIO for Pendyne Capital, an investment platform for a single-family office in Florida. Prior to this, Andy was Managing Director of Public Markets at Emory University. In this role, he was a senior member of the team responsible for a $7B portfolio. His earlier career includes investment roles within fund-of-funds, hedge funds, and M&A investment banking. He graduated from Stanford’s Business School and School of Education where he received joint MBA and MA degrees. He graduated from Princeton University and is a CFA charterholder. While fulfilling his responsibilities in the areas of investment management and organizational leadership, Andy has found great alignment with his dual passions for both learning and mentoring. Outside of work, he is active in his local church and has served others through leading faith-based community groups.


Greg Kaufmann
Organization: GMT Capital


Greg Kaufmann is responsible for marketing at GMT Capital, a global Long/short equity investment manager. He previously worked for Bank of America and BNP Paribas. Prior to working in finance, he was a journalist working in Europe, Russia, and South America. He graduated with an MBA from Duke University and a B.A. from the University of Delaware. Greg has been involved with the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program for over 10 years – helping launch the Atlanta chapter, grow the NYC chapter, and grade/develop the Level II exams. His volunteer activities have included a museum board position, leading walking tours for Central Park Conservancy in NYC, and Events co-chairman for his neighborhood.


David Plyler
Organization: Gleneagles Group


David Plyler is the Founder and CEO of Gleneagles Group. Founded in 1997, Gleneagles Group works with a limited number of high net worth families in providing family office management services. The firm’s mission is to lead others as a catalyst for growth and change. David started his family office career as the CEO of a single-family office. Previously, he was a partner with KPMG and spent the majority of his career prior to 1993 in public accounting. He is a graduate of UNC – Chapel Hill, where he earned a B.S. degree. He is a CFA, CPA, and Chartered Life Underwriter. David has two non-profit organizations where he spends his time. In 2005, he created a program for students at Atlanta Youth Academy (“AYA”) that focuses on leadership, business, investment and philanthropic matters. This program won the 2012 Mentoring Excellence Award from the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation. In addition to AYA, he runs Homeless at Heart (“HAH”), a non-profit that cultivates student social entrepreneurs. This was founded in 2015 by his youngest son, Charles (age 11 at the time) that gets students to create Valentine boxes of essential items and handwritten cards to give to the homeless. In 2017, HAH gave away over 13,000 boxes.
