Yuval Avni
Organization: Israel Tech VC


Dr. Yuval Avni, fund manager and entrepreneur is the co-founder and managing general partner of Crescendo Venture partners. Dr. Yuval Avni, has developed his career at VC since 2008 when he joined Giza Venture Capital. He was in charge of the Life sciences and CleanTech sectors and was involved in the entire investment process – sourcing, screening and due diligence. Dr Avni is the co founder and partner of SwanLaab Venture factory a Madrid based VC where he is member of the Investment Committee and Venture Partner at GPV, a Warsaw-based early stage venture capital fund from the Giza Group. Dr. Avni is a trained medical doctor, with four years of clinical experience in general surgery and vascular surgery. He has conducted clinical research in the areas of human genetics, general surgery and vascular surgery. Dr. Avni serves as an airborne rescue and evacuation physician in the Israel Air Force (Reserves) and a consultant on new technologies to the IAF chief medical officer. Prior to his medical studies, Yuval served for five years in the Israel Defense Forces as an officer in an elite special operation unit of the intelligence corp.


Roque Calleja
Organization: BlackRock Alternative Specialists


Mr Calleja is the Head of the BlackRock Alternatives Specialist (BAS) for Latam, responsible for driving BlackRock's client strategy in alternatives with institutional and wealth clients in the region, working closely with the local relationship managers, and the broader BAS and BAI organizations. Prior to his current role, Mr. Calleja served as head of ICB in Mexico from 2014 to 2017 and as co-head of the institutional business from 2017 to 2018. Mr Calleja joined BlackRock in 2009 as a member of BlackRock's iShares business in Iberia and relocated to NY in 2012 where he supported BlackRock's Latin America & Iberia retail business focusing on offshore wealth for nonresident investors.


Amy Lawrence
Organization: Bank of America Private Bank


Amy S. Lawrence is Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank. She has managed international projects and works closely with leaders in the private, public and nonprofit sector to achieve results. At the private bank, Amy connects high net worth individuals and nonprofit institutions to strategies that pursue their financial goals. She guides investors through three main areas - banking, lending and investments - and delivers a boutique-like experience within a large institution. Prior to her work with Bank of America, Amy served as team lead for business development for the Miami Downtown Development Authority, where she supported economic development for the agency of the City - including Miami’s Hedge Fund Row and technology initiatives. In the philanthropic sector, Amy worked at Knight Foundation to enhance grant impact for a portfolio of more than $100MM in active awards and an endowment portfolio of $450MM. Amy has worked in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and lives in Miami. She serves as the President of the Miami Finance Forum, the Southeast Regional Director for the Hedge Fund Association, and an advisor to the Business Development and Marketing Committee for the Miami Downtown Development Authority. She has an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BSc from the University of Miami.


Nayef Perry
Organization: Hamilton Lane


Nayef is a Managing Director with Hamilton Lane and head of the firm’s Miami office. As a senior member of the investment team, he is responsible for leading the execution and portfolio management of direct investment opportunities. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2013, Nayef was a Vice President within GE Capital’s Leveraged Finance group in New York City. Previously, he was a management consultant with the Corporate Executive Board. Nayef received an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
