As co-head of the hydro team, he further initiated bi-lateral dialogues with European utilities for investment cases to form long-term partnerships with Aquila Capital´s institutional investor vehicles. Before joining Aquila Capital, Verloop was with the asset management division of Wegelin & Co in Switzerland. He previously worked at Shell Gas & Power in the Strategy and Planning division, and led a commodity trading company in West-Africa prior to that.
