Description:CAIA San Francisco presents: The FED: Assessing the Global Macro Impact of the Federal Reserve and Asset Allocation in 2019 The CAIA Association, in partnership with CME Group and Efficient Capital Management, invite you to our upcoming geopolitical briefing and global-macro educational event on Wednesday, October 24, in San Francisco. Danielle DiMartino Booth, author of Fed Up: An Insider’s Take on Why the Federal Reserve is Bad for America, will provide a keynote presentation and complimentary copies of her book. The panel discussion featuring institutional investors and macro specialists will follow. The evening will conclude with a networking reception.

Danielle DiMartino Booth is a global thought leader on monetary policy and economics. She is the author of Fed Up: An Insider’s Take on Why the Federal Reserve is Bad for America (Portfolio, Feb 2017).
DiMartino Booth founded Money Strong LLC in 2015. Through her economic consultancy, she has published a weekly newsletter for 140 consecutive weeks. In affiliation with Quill Intelligence, DiMartino Booth also publishes a weekly newsletter subscribed to by institutional investors.
DiMartino Booth is a full-time columnist for Bloomberg View, a business speaker, and a commentator frequently featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, Bloomberg Radio, Fox News, Fox Business News and other major media outlets.

David specializes in asset allocation, investment sourcing, portfolio structuring, and risk management.
Mr. Seibert leads C.M. Capital Advisors’ investment activities in hedge funds and public securities, and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Seibert has over a decade of experience of investing in hedge funds primarily in a family office setting – first as a Founding Partner and Head of Research at LyonRoss Capital Management, a multi-family office, and as Deputy Chief Investment Officer at AI International, a single-family office. Prior to his direct hedge fund investing experience, Mr. Seibert was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he held management roles within multiple divisions. Mr. Seibert earned his MBA in Finance and International Business at New York University, a Master of International Affairs degree at Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Wesleyan University.

Matt is responsible for strategy, asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management across AAA’s insurance and pension investment portfolios.
James Walsh
Organization: Albourne Partners Limited
James joined Albourne Partners in 2012 as a managing director and partner analyst. He is now the Global Head of Portfolio Advisory.
