With a large, stable and growing primary private credit market, it is only natural to see a percentage of LPs and GPs seek liquidity as part of their ordinary portfolio management function through credit secondaries. In this nascent market, what are some of the key drivers behind the growth in deal flow? How is the asset class supporting the strategic objectives of both LPs and GPs? How are transactions priced and structured, and what is the value proposition of adding credit secondaries to a portfolio?
Join us to hear Luca Salvato and Chrissy Svejnar answer these questions and more. Speakers:
 Luca Salvato, Partner, Co-Portfolio Manager
Mr. Salvato is a Partner in the Ares Secondaries Group, where he focuses on private equity secondaries. He also serves as a member of the Ares Secondaries Group's Private Equity and Credit Investment Committees. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Salvato was a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Spring Bridge Partners, a firm dedicated and focused exclusively on GP-led secondary transactions. Previously, he was a Partner at Coller Capital Inc., where he focused on origination, underwriting and execution of global secondary transaction and was a member of the Investment Committee. In addition, Mr. Salvato was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse First Boston in London. Mr. Salvato holds a B.Sc. from the University of Bristol in Chemistry.
Chrissy Svejnar, Partner
Ms. Lamont Svejnar is a Partner in the Ares Secondaries Group, where she focuses on credit secondaries. Ms. Lamont Svejnar serves on the Ares Secondaries Group's Credit Investment Committee. Additionally, Ms. Lamont Svejnar serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2006, Ms. Lamont Svejnar was an Analyst at GE Capital Global Media & Communications, where she focused on providing debt financing to mid-market media firms. Previously, Ms. Lamont Svejnar participated in the GE Capital Financial Management Program and completed roles in risk portfolio analytics and financial planning analytics. Ms. Lamont Svejnar holds a B.A. from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business in Finance.
