Throughout the series we will have in-depth conversations about the successes and challenges facing emerging managers such as : differentiating investment strategies, research, identifying alpha opportunities across asset classes, raising capital, and launching a new fund

Our first event features Jacob Ma-Weaver, founder of Cable Car Capital, a Bay Area fund launched in 2013 whose primary investment strategies are highly concentrated long-short positions, utilizing deep forensic accounting to identify bad actors, and more recently allocating capital in the cryptocurrency space.
