John Tousley, Managing Director & Senior Strategist with the Advisory Solutions Team at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will share Goldman’s latest research on the state of the global economy, drivers of capital market performance, and 2023 market outlook.
Wendy Lin, strategist with the Advisory Solutions team, will provide a brief overview of Goldman’s EMPOWER group, which presents ideas to help solve the unique challenges and opportunities specific to the female, millennial and LGBT investor. Understanding the nuances of these investor populations can help you as an advisor encourage these clients to gain confidence and take control of their financial destiny.

Wendy Lin
Organization: Goldman Sachs Asset Management, LP
Wendy Lin is a market strategist within the Strategic Advisory Solutions’ Market Strategy team. She is responsible for helping clients contextualize the macro and market environment, and offering timely implementation ideas.
Her areas of expertise include analyzing equity styles, valuation, and US pension trends. Prior to joining the team, Wendy was a risk analyst focused on quantifying and allocating operational risk capital across business segments for firmwide stress testing Wendy earned a B.S. in Economics and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
John Tousley
Organization: Goldman Sachs Asset Management, LP
John Tousley, CFA, is a senior strategist within GSAM’s Strategic Advisory Solutions where he heads the Global Market Strategy team focusing on global capital market insight, macro strategy, and implementation.
John has been with the firm 21 years, and was named managing director in 2011. He has 30 years of industry experience as an investment professional and portfolio manager. John received a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1991, and is a CFA charter holder.
