All Aboard! Which Investment Vehicle is the Right One?

Accessing alternatives at lower investment minimums has become much easier and cost-effective due to changing regulations and technological innovations. This is especially important for high-net-worth individuals and their accompanying wealth managers, who are currently underexposed to private investments. The next two decades will see significant AUM growth from these investors into private equity, private credit, and venture capital.

Join CAIA Atlanta, Ares Wealth Management, Clifford Chance and GeoWealth, as we discuss the advantages and challenges of closed-end funds vs. interval funds vs. Business Development Corporations. Discussion points will cover investor eligibility, fees, liquidity restrictions, and performance calculations – all critical for investment managers and investors to consider.

Before we “unpack” all of this great content, pack your bags for a game of “Ticket to Ride.” This will be CAIA’s vehicle of choice to start an enjoyable afternoon of networking and education. Groups of 5-6 will engage with some competitive play for about 45 minutes. Winners in each group will get to keep their board game. We will then “roll” into a panel discussion about Investment Vehicles, with drinks and food to follow.
