Michael Groff
Organization: GCG Fund


Mike has over seven years of combined trading experience across a variety of asset classes; FX, Equities, FI, Commodities & Cryptocurrencies. He also has experience in a variety of trading styles, which include, day, flow, swing, trend, algorithmic, and arbitrage trading. Mike was most recently a FX prop trader at Gelber Group, and currently sits on the Advisory Board for MMSpire Trading Company. ​ Mike was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, by a family of entrepreneurs, and started his first business at the age of 12. He was 1 of 12 students at the University of Dayton (UD) to receive a Certificate in Alternative Investments. While at UD, Mike was very involved in extracurricular activities. He held the COO position in the Flyer FOREX Fund (a leveraged currency portfolio managed by a student-run proprietary trading group with over 40 members). In addition, he was the Macroeconomic Team Leader for the Davis Center for Portfolio Management (a student run equity fund which managed $15.3MM of the University of Dayton’s endowment). ​ Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton where he studied Entrepreneurship and Finance.


David Schulz
Organization: CBOE Holdings Inc.


David Schulz, Director, Business Development, Global Client Services at CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) joined CBOE Holdings in November 2012. Currently, he is part of CBOE’s APAC Business Development sales group, leveraging his 37-year career in financial products. Prior to joining CBOE, Schulz managed sales, order execution and market analysis on the CME trading floor for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets from 1980-1985, spent two years as an foreign exchange trader at Lloyds Bank in New York and returned to Merrill Lynch Futures in Chicago to head up FX futures and Emerging Markets on the CME trading floor from 1987-2000. He was an independent trader on the CME trading floor from 2000-2003, then in 2003 joined CME Group as an Associate Director in FX Products, moving up to Director in 2007. His role at the CME included educating retail traders and institutional traders on the benefits of trading FX futures as well as trading FX cash versus futures. Working with the CME sales team, FX volume grew from approximately 25 billion to a high of 140 billion in daily notional during his employment there. David was inducted into the Profit & Loss Hall of Fame class in 2011 for his contributions to the foreign exchange market. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Matt Wolf

Matt has over 15 years of experience working with emerging business models and strategic implementations at the highest level of both the public and private sector, internationally and domestic. Most recently Matt started Antonym, a vertically-integrated blockchain agency based here in Chicago. Prior to starting Antonym, Matt co-founded Dandelion (dndln.org) and has worked for organizations such as United Talent Agency, Warner Bros.,The City of Detroit, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Derby County FC, and ThyssenKrupp
