The CAIA London Chapter is pleased to invite you to this educational event and luncheon at Preqin Headquarters, which will feature a conversation with William J. Kelly, CAIA, President and CEO at CAIA Association in collaboration with Cameron Joyce, CFA and SVA, Deputy Head of Research Insights at Preqin, on the state of Portfolio for the Future: the Future for Alternative Investments, and featuring important reflections on the Market Outlook. 

 

Alternative investments are part of an ever-evolving industry, and opportunities, as well as new types of alternatives, emerge year after year. Technological advancements are continually reinventing the landscape and new trends set the stage for the industry’s future. In the aftermath of Covid-19’s impact on the investment landscape, alternative investments have been gaining great traction, as a tool to hedge against inflation and to diversify portfolios, by prioritizing client and beneficiary outcomes, and working tirelessly to achieve those outcomes in a long-term, sustainable way. 
Increased demand from investors has been the key driver of growth within the industry. The alternative assets industry has continued to grow in recent years and is now a mainstay of the modern investment landscape.  What driving forces lead investors and what does the future hold for alternative investments as the industry continues to expand?
