Rebekka Kristin started her career in Hong Kong 15 years ago, opening a private maternity clinic called Annerley. After a few years in the health care industry and subsequently in event management she settled in the media industry as a business development manager at Haymarket Media Ltd. She spent 8 years working across Haymarket's financial publications, FinanceAsia and AsianInvestor, managing the sales teams for the print publications and online platforms.
In 2015 she joined LinkedIn's Marketing Solutions team as head of sales with a team in Hong Kong and Singapore. Passionate about gender equality and equal opportunities for all, she leads Women At LinkedIn (W@LI) in Hong Kong and is an ambassador for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIBs) at LinkedIn.
Rebekka Kristin has BSc in International Sales and Marketing from Reykjavik University and Copenhagen Business School.
Eric Sim, CFA, PRM is a Linkedin blogger sharing life skills with his 700,000 followers. As an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at HKUST, Eric teaches both undergrad and post graduates on Investment Banking, Derivatives and Risk Management. Eric is former Managing Director at UBS AG Investment Bank Asia where he ran the FX, Rates and bond-financing business within IBD from 2011 till 2017. Last year, he set up Institute of Life to inspire and train young professionals on the key skills to be successful in life and how to make managing director in the finance industry.
