Glion Institute of Higher Education is organizing the first Private Capital Conference at its campus in Montreux on June 27-28, 2019. The Private Capital Conference explores latest advances in private equity, private debt, and real assets, and offers a forum for academics and practitioners to debate the latest research advances in private markets, including private equity, venture capital, private debt, and real estate. The conference will bring together a unique mix of academics and practitioners to offer insights into private market strategies which are becoming increasingly popular in the current low-yield environment. The event is organized by leading experts in the field, among them finance professors from such renowned institutions such as Université Paris-Dauphine, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and Oxford University, as well as industry experts. The event is sponsored by leading companies in the private capital industry (Unigestion, Ardian, Capital Dynamics, eFront, MJ Hudson and Wellershoff & Partners). Private equity courses are new part of the academic curriculum at Glion, with a new MSc in Finance, Real Estate and Hotel Development launching on Glion’s London campus in September 2019.
