In 2002, a talented group of musicians from the financial sector decided to form a band night, not only to showcase their talents but to also raise money for charity. This culmination of Hedge Funds and Rock 'n' Roll has evolved into an annual awards night and a must attend event for the finance industry. To date, the generous contributions from all who have attended have resulted in over $3,500,000 being donated to various charities.

 

The Hedge Funds Rock + Australian Alternative Investment Awards were established in 2005 to recognise and honour the industry's top performers. Finalists are decided based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative factors agreed by a panel of judges in ten categories.
