The Austin Investment Strategy Dinner is an annual gathering of 300 local investment professionals and prominent practitioners from the field of finance whom are recognized for their insight, accomplishments and ongoing commitment to advancing integrity and expertise in the investment profession.
Joining us is Ellen Zentner, Chief US Economist for Morgan Stanley, who will share insights on the direction of Global and US economies and the implications for the investor. For the fourth year in a row, Ellen and Morgan Stanley team were awarded the Lawrence R. Klein Award from the Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Ellen outshined 50 competitors by providing the most accurate economic forecast among the nation’s top economists for the years 2014-2017.
Ellen’s presentation will be followed by a fireside chat between Rob Kapito, President and Director of BlackRock, and Sharmila Kassam, Deputy CIO of Employees Retirement System of Texas. Rob and Sharmila plan to discuss topics related to the “Future of Investing” which include:
